This site is intended to provide information to all citizens of Sevier County no matter what their party affiliation.

Our founding fathers established a form of government that allows every single person to become involved in the political process and voice their opinion through their selection of leaders.

This process begins every other year with caucus meeting, held in many neighborhoods throughout the county. In these grassroot meeting Precinct Officers are elected, who then conduct the process. This process allows all those in attendance to elect County and State Delegates. These Delegates represent their Precincts in the nominating conventions where the the field of cadidates is narrowed to those who will advance to the Primary Election.

At the Primary Election, again all members of each party vote to select the cadidate to represent their party in the General Elections for each elected office.

The General Election allows all citizens whether they belong to a political party or not to cast their vote for the candidate of their choice.

Remember Voting is not only your right, but your RESPONSIBILITY.
